Art Show Poster
The poster I created for an art show themed around connection that I participated in during my Undergraduate studies.
For this project, I was inspired by the colors and shapes of Phyllis Sloane's print, pre-digital graphic design, and motifs that symbolize connection.
Design Exploration
Final Design
The main inspiration for this design was a Natalie by Phyllis Sloane print. I loved her use of color and shape, and used the circle wallpaper and the color palette of the piece to inspire my poster.
Initial Design
Initially, I leaned more into the brown + red combo of the inspiration piece. During the first round of edits, I was instructed to add more color, so I swapped the brown for the blue in Natalie's eyeshadow for the final version.
